Maintenance for sUAS

Scheduled Maintenance
Scheduled maintenance ensures predictable system availability and long-term reliability of sUAS fleets. Activities are performed at defined intervals based on flight hours, calendar cycles, and manufacturer specifications.All measures are planned in advance, documented, and coordinated with the customer to minimize downtime, ensure compliance with OEM requirements, and maintain consistent performance across the fleet.

An addition to maintenance and repair, overhaul is an important measure for extending the service life of UAV systems. The aim is to fully restore the technical target condition of a UAV system, especially after intensive use cycles, a high number of flight hours or before safety-critical operations. An overhaul includes, among other things, dismantling the UAV system to identify and replace wear-critical parts. Each overhauled system undergoes a comprehensive operational check including flight test and functional analysis.
