
Kinetic Counter UAS
- Target group
Military and law enforcement personnel at the squad and platoon levels who face the threat of small drones during operations.
- Requirements
Candidates must have completed shooting and combat training. Proficiency in the use of a shotgun, as well as basic knowledge of weapons handling and tactical group operations, are required.
- Purpose
Systematic training of soldiers in the kinetic defence against small drones at close range (<100 m) using only a shotgun. The concept establishes a robust, self-sufficient and rapid-response last-resort defence capability at squad and platoon level.
- Training content
- 1: Crawl – mastering the basicsIntuitive motor skills and aiming points are reinforced through high repetition against passive targets.
- 2: Walk – application to real targetsTransferring the learned skills to live-fire exercises against real training drones.
- 3: Run – validation under combat stressIntegration into tactical group procedures, realistic scenarios against the Red Team.
- Weapon focus
Modern 12-gauge semi-automatic shotguns. Ammunition suitable for basic training and realistic scenarios.
- Site requirements
- Approved training area / shooting range.
- Safety zone of at least 400 × 400 m.
- Coordinated airspace.
